This is the true story of an Australian
news photographer, John Everingham, and his attempt to rescue Laotian
girl Keo (played by Laura Gemser under the pseudonym Moira Chen) from
war-torn Mekong Delta in South East Asian. A year earlier, John had been
imprisoned and was tortured by the Communist regime after convicted of
being a spy. Now, he's gone back to rescue Keo, the young woman he loves,
or die trying,

Gemser made this film shortly after Bruno Fontana's DIRTY
SEVEN. Most all of her movies were directed by Joe D'Amato, with

EMANUELLE series remaining her best known. However, during
this period, she branched out and worked with numerous other cult directors

the death of her husband Gabriele Tinti. She then became a Costume Director
for D'Amato's production studio, usually working under the
name Laurette M. Gemser.
