Ramon Larraz fought diligently in the '70s and '80s to loosen censorship
restrictions in his home country of Spain. Often, his films would push
the boundaries of cultural acceptability. For example, this motion picture
- released in Spain in 1979 - received a special "S" (Sex) classification
which limited the audience to adults only. This motion picture is one
of very few Larraz comedies; he is better known for the highly controversial
VAMPYRES,
COMING
OF SIN and SEXUAL
RITES OF THE DEVIL. Director Larraz died September 3, 2013 in
Andalucía, Spain at age 83.

sex comedy is also known as EL PERISCOPIO (The Periscope) and MALICIA
EROTICA. Here an adolescent boy makes s a periscope so he can spy on the
two swinging lesbian nurses living above his family's apartment. The boy's
parents are clueless that he's moving through puberty. One night, when
he awakens with a 'pain in his groin,' moms calls Nurse Gemser down to
'relieve' his pain. She does.
