Ai has recently married a young doctor named Wu. To celebrate the occasion,
one of Ai's childhood friends gives her an antique wedding bed as a gift.
But - unbeknownst to everyone - a brutal murder cursed the bed. And once
it's in the house, bad luck follows. Ai is an initial victim of an 'accident'
which causes her career to be put on hold while she recuperates. Since
husband Wu must work long hours at the hospital, her sister Xiao comes
to stay with Ai. But problems continue - including the bloody slaying
of Ai's new puppy - and mysterious apparitions are consuming the young
woman. Meanwhile, [despite getting married] her husband hasn't stopped
a relationship with an old girlfriend and that is also beginning to harm
the relationship as a dark evil smothers the house.

UNDER
THE BED 2, but she's playing a totally different character. In
fact - despite the title and a similar cursed-bed-backstory - there's
very little connection between this film and the former project. It's
a first time effort from director Shang Yongfeng, who also wrote the script.
