A futuristic
fantasy about an eccentric, bored executive who becomes obsessed with
a mysterious girl, but she turns out to be an android. Specifically,
Mr. Rossi lives in a small town. He works in a large financial company
and is considered "unique" by his colleagues because he doesn't
own a car and insists on skateboarding to work. One afternoon, from
his office window, he catches sight of an intriguing girl. He decides
to follow her... a decision that changes his life forever.
Sydne
Rome (her real name) plays the Tin Girl here. She originally came from
the States were she was born into a wealthy family in Sandusky, Ohio,
1951. Her father was CEO
of a very successful Akron area plastics company and he helped establish
her in Italy when she decided that she wanted to be in the motion picture
business. After starring in numerous films (including Luigi Zampa's
MONSTER,
STOP
CALLING ME BABY! with a very young Jodie Foster, and Rene Clement's
BABY
SITTER [SCAR TISSUE]) she drifted to Euro television, appearing
in numerous projects since the early '80s. In 2013, Ms Rome acquired
the rights for Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? and has
created the first stage presentation. It premiered in Rome, Italy in
2013 where a successful run has lasted years.
