Fashion model Valentina agrees to help a journalist friend with an article he's writing about HDS, a new hallucinogenic drug. In short, she takes the drug so he can get her reaction to it. While tripping, Valentina 'witnesses' the brutal murder of a young woman in the apartment across the street. She then finds herself stalked by the killer and is drawn into a deadly game.

The film was written by Italian superstar director Sergio Corbucci (DJANGO) with a script by Ernesto Gastaldi (LONELY VIOLENT BEACH).

This is Susan Scott's third Giallo helmed by husband Luciano Ercoli, preceded by DEATH WALKS ON HIGH HEELS and FORBIDDEN PHOTOS OF A LADY ABOVE SUSPICION. Susan (born Nieves Navarro García) would continue making films with Luciano, but as her popularity grew she began working with other genre directors including Sergio Martino (ALL THE COLORS OF THE DARK), Joe D'Amato (EMANUELLE AND THE LAST CANNIBAL TRIBE), Brunello Rondi (BLACK VELVET) and Henri Sala (EMANUELLE AND LOLITA). Her marriage to Luciano Ercoli lasted 45 years, ending with his death in March 2015 at age 85. Now in her late 70s, Ms Navarro lives outside Rome in the family villa.
