An International crime organization, with headquarters in Hong Kong, needs more money to fund their "ultimate diabolical scheme." In their zeal to fill their war chest, the bad guys plan to raid the hidden stronghold of Aztec Emperor Montezuma and steal the lost treasure. But first they must secure a map hidden inside a statue currently guarded at a museum. After success with that caper - surprisingly easily accomplished with 'freeze gas' - they discover that the map needs to be decoded with an emerald ring currently in the possession of an Interpol agent, Jorge Rubio. Of course, the spy and his partner Santo immediately go on the offensive against the underworld gang.

Santo and Jorge Rivero are convincing and fun to watch in this James Bond rip. Although the movie was overshadowed by the subsequent SANTO AND THE TREASURE OF DRACULA [and VAMPIRE AND THE SEX], it is a Santo movie with a bigger budget than usual. The film also benefits from two beautiful, talented co-stars... Amadee Chabot [a former Miss California and Miss USA World] and Maura Monti [best known for BAT WOMAN and PLANET OF FEMALE INVADERS].
