Famous
novelist Olga Arban, with the help of her submissive editor/husband
Paul, follows the routine of recruiting an 'assistant' [actually,
a slave] to help recreate kinky scenarios to better envision the sexual
conflict in her sadistic narratives. As slave Patricia's 'character'
becomes more desensitized to Olga's unbridged cruelty, she begins to
turn on her 'creator.'
Much
mystery surrounds this 1983 production [including a severely edited,
restructured version with Ajita Wilson inserts, released in Italy as
La Doppia Bocca di Erika (Double Mouth of Erika) in 1983].
However, the original version - here - features a cast of virtual unknown
actors, plus the odd inclusion of genre filmmaker Sergio Bergonzelli
in an uncredited minor role. His participation has lead to speculation
that he may be the real director [in fact, many of the scenes are stylistically
and conceptionally similar to his other films of the time (OUR
LADY OF LUST, TEMPTATIONand BLOOD
DELIRIUM)]. But prolific second-unit technician Zacarias Urbiola
is officially listed as 'director' for this project, seeming
helmed while he was making RETURN
OF EVA MAN [which, incidentally, might really be directed by
Antonio D'Agostino].
