Easily, this is Joe
D'Amato's most successful film of his 'erotic' period (1983-1992).
It is essentially an even quirkier variation of the Kim Basinger/Mickey
Rourke hit, 9½ Weeks. In this one, the roles are reverse
as Jessica Moore takes on Rourke's S&M lovemaking tendencies.
Here the story revolves
around two people Michael Terenzi and Sarah Asproon. Michael is about
to get married in eleven days but he starts up a steamy lust affair with
Sarah after she seduces him on a riverboat. This leads Michael into thinking
twice about the upcoming marriage as he begins to experience a darker
(but decidedly more pleasurable) relationship with Sarah. However, he
doesn't know the woman is only fucking him to get information on her upcoming
book on sex partners.
Jessica Moore would
play this 'Sarah Asproon' character again for Joe D'Amato in his next
project TOP
MODEL. Sarah would return again - but played by Kristine
Rose - for D'Amato's WEB
OF LIES a few years later. The director also madeHOT VOODOO AFTERNOON(1989), a
conceptually similiar, New Orleans-based film with a female writer (this
time) played by Valentine Demy.
An
