An
underground organization of traffickers deal in guns, drugs and flesh
throughout the world, operating from hubs in Zurich and Amsterdam with
a lucrative destination in Tangiers. Specifically, here is the story
of an abducted Montreal girl and a female journalist dedicated to finding
her. The lurid drama whisks the news reporters (and the audience) through
International red-light districts of striptease, prostitution, bondage
and live sex-shows, culminating in exotic Tangier where oil sheiks are
willing to pay exorbitant amounts of money for a new additions to their
harems.
Guy
Gilbert directed only a handful of films (this would be his last). He
was employed as production manager for numerous Jess Franco pictures,
including
LOVERS OF DEVIL'S ISLAND. Guy was married to Josyane Gilbert,
an actress who also starred in this film, but she was better known as
'P. Belair.' Under that name, she worked as Franco's editor on many
films including DORIANA
GREY. Mr Gilbert died from a heart attack in June 2007. He was
89.
