In Germany, just prior to the start of WW2, Jewish girl Hanna (played by Sirpa Lane) and an Aryan are a happy couple in love. But very soon, their relationship is terminated: he gets drafted and sent to fight for the Nazi flag while she is arrested and deported to Prostitution Camp 27. Hanna quickly realizes that she must do whatever it takes to survive as any disobedience is punishable by a brutal death. She gives her body freely and succumbs to one indignation after another until she can take no more.

Mario Caiano began directing his own projects in the late '50s after working with a numerous filmmakers as scriptwriter and assistant director. He made many successful Spaghetti Westerns but was best known for helming the Barbara Steele horror film NIGHTMARE CASTLE (Amanti D'Oltretomb) in 1965. He would often use an alias, usually Alen Grunewald or William Hawkins. As Hawkins, he made this movie, his last film before delving into the more lucrative television venue. For 30 years, Mr Caiano directed an array of Italian TV movies and mini-series projects, stopping only once in 1988 to helm Klaus Kinski's NOSFERATU IN VENICE. Unfortunately, his involvement in that project was ill-fated; after a major disagreement with Kinski, he was fired. Mr Caiano died September 20, 2015 at 82 years.

Finnish-born Sirpa Lane was discovered by Roger Vadim who saw her as "the new Brigitte Bardot," but after a brief relationship she relocated in Italy where she made most of her films. She is best known for THE BEAST (and its cockeyed sequel THE BEAST IN SPACE) plus THE SECRET LIFE OF LUCREZIA BORGIA. Ms Lane died from AIDS at age 47 in 1999.
