Released during the peak of the S&M bondage craze, this series breaks the rules. Rather than focusing - yet again - on the dark and depressing ambience of Oniroku Dan's vision of the genre (i.e., WIFE TO BE SACRIFICED, FLOWER AND SNAKE, etc}, these films create a heroic vigilante who simply wants to punish some bad girls for doing him wrong. This "everyman" captured the imagination of many pink fans.

The Roper (played in both films by Shiro Shimomoto) is an average middle-age man who gets robbed and assaulted by a gang of delinquent girls. He is badly injured. In fact, Shiro loses an eye in the scrimmage. He vows to take revenge against the Nazi She Devils and their leader (young Hiromi Saotime) by using the girls as guinea pigs in a variety of rough rape and B&D sessions. Shiro visits an S&M club and hires a professional trainer to teach "the secrets of the rope." Then he is prepared for his vengeance. The Roper captures gang members and keeps them in his private torture chamber. The second installment culminates with the gang leader tied up and hanging from a huge industrial crane. And - by the way - everything is accentuated with a very cool "Spaghetti Western" styled soundtrack.

Of course not everyone will be amused by this legendary pink combo, but to those who understand the premise of "It's only a movie," get ready for a mind boggling experience. Many genre fans are already quiote familiar with the work of director Shuji Kataoka, he is fondly remembered for numerous classic pink films, including PRISONER MARIA plus the entire SUBWAY SERIAL RAPE series.,
