As established
in the previous installments (RAPEMAN
and RAPEMAN
2), Keisuke is a timid and nerdy high-school teacher by day and
a leather clad rapist "superhero" by night. This episode
starts with a husband attempting to hire Rapeman Services to shock
his wife from her newly discovered lesbian practices. Rapeman accepts
the job and the couple are happily reunited [with the small catch: the
wife can only climax when her husband wears a Rapeman outfit]. But the
real focus of this movie begins when one of Keisuke's students is found
dead 'as a result of an accident.' Neither Keisuke nor the girl's mother
believe it's an accidental death. Upon investigation, Keisuke and Uncle
delve into an underground world of shady cops, drug dealers, corrupt teachers,
and a rape-porn ring. Of course, with Rapeman's upstanding moral values,
he must do something to avenge the young student's death.
Both
of the lead actors are entertainment veterans. Sakae Umezu (Uncle) is
a well-known character actor who brings experience and dignity to this
arguably inelegant undertaking. But Hiroyuki Okita - a former teen-idol
pop singer - shines as the perfect Clark Kent choice for the Rapeman role.
The series came to an abrupt end with his suicide death in the spring
of '99 after seven hit installments.
