Set in the early 20th
century, this film - once again - exploits director D'Amato's fascination
with sexual corruption flourishing inside an innocent culture. D'Amato,
with his mostly Italian crew, shot this erotic tale in tandem with CHINESE
KAMA SUTRA and HOUSE
OF PLEASURE in the Philippines in 1994 (five years before his
death). The original Italian title was IL LABIRINTO DEI SENSI.
Valerie is a 32 French woman. She is beautiful and is able to make a favorable
impression on everyone she meets. Hired as a housekeeper for the wealthy
Chang Sun family, she immediately sees the house is comfortable with a
more relaxed atmosphere. Before long, everyone is biding by her rules
as she freely provokes an air of sexuality to household. Valerie soon
succeeds in entrapping the entire family in her sexual web.
