This is perhaps Joe
D'Amato's most cynical erotic film, set in a world of corruption, insensitivity
and cruel sexuality. D'Amato, with his mostly Italian crew, shot this
sex scorcher in tandem with CHINESE
KAMA SUTRA in the Philippines in 1994. Both films feature Marco
Gonsalvez in pivotal roles.. The original Italian title was La Casa
del Piacere.
Gregory and Eleanor,
a married couple visiting a business partner in Manila, reaffirm their
love and devotion through a series of unusual extramarital affairs. Specifically,
husband Gregory makes an arrangement with his business partner Lin - a
young man who recently has become the head of his father's silk company
- for him to seduce Eleanor while the entire sordid affair is captured
on closed circuit TV camera.
