Here is the story
of a female assassin sent to Taiwan to clear the way for a Hong Kong gang
to take over the territory. Problems arise when she breaks the cardinal
rule of an assassin – never develop friends – and she finds
it impossible to complete the job. Now hunted by both camps, the ruthless
killer must turn into a savior as she tries to help her friends.
Director Liao Ming
Li migrated to Singapore after this film. He worked as a producer for
Sun Film Entertainment but only helmed one other movie, 1996's Dark
Obsession. Lead actress Tsai Chai-Hung shines here in (easily) her
best performance. She continued to act but only delivered a handful of
films, retiring in 1995. This would be the final role for Ko Keung [Mu
Szu-chen], a veteran kung-fu actor who made 60+ films over two decades,
usually under the alias Chiang Kao.
A Taiwanese
