While
stopping for gas in the backwater burg of Flesh, Texas, Donna Parker
finds herself propelled into a nightmare when her daughter Tabitha disappears.
After seeking help from the so-called town sheriff, Donna goes looking
for Tabitha-- a pursuit that leads to the insane, inbred Barley family.
This
film was written by the leading actress Kathleen Benner who also starred
in NAKED
FEAR 2 and SPORTKILL,
both made in 2009. It is the most recent movie directed by Guy Crawford
who began his career in the B-Film arena with THE
CATCHER and STARVED,
both made in 2000.
If
you ever wondered what happened to Martin Sheen's younger brother [and
uncle of Charlie Sheen] Joe Estevez, this film is a good answer (above
center). However, do not feel sorry for him. To date he has appeared
in 250+ films, none of which you'll find familiar unless you happen
to be a fan of Roller Blade Seven or the sequel Return
of Roller Blade Seven. Joe can be seen weekly on the
syndicated TV series Hollywood Joe and in the organizer
and host of the Faith Film Festival which presented him with
an Outstanding Achievement in Acting in 2013.
