The plot is essentially a variation of the standard ghost story. An expecting couple begin to experience horrific, supernatural occurrences after moving to a rural mountain villa. The midnight ghostly encounter soon puts the pregnant mom and her baby at risk.

This is the debut film for fashion model Yina Rrmea, from the remote Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of China. It's also the first film for director Liu Ning, a studio cinematographer at Beijing's Zhejiang Bird of Paradise Culture Communication Company. The movie was completed in 2014 but did not see release until late 2015 due to government censorship of subject matter [the Chinese officials continue to rally against any horror or supernatural themes in the Arts]. Distribution problems kept the film from mass circulation in mainland China but it was a major hit in Hong Kong and other Asian countries including Korea where comparisons were drawn to the 2004 hit SCARY HAIR.
