After
a short career as a professional boxer in Philadelphia, Don Jones decided
to move to Los Angeles and try show business for awhile. After an array
of industry jobs - from stuntman to camera-grip [ASTRO
ZOMBIES] he took the advice of producer Ted V Mikels and began
writing. His first script "Abduction" got the attention of
Mirror Releasing and they offered him the chance to direct it. The film
was retitled SCHOOLGIRLS
IN CHAINS and became a hit in the mid-70s Drive-In circuit .
A few years later, Don Jones made this movie which also turned a profit
quickly and allowed him to take his talents to the Discovery Channel
and other networks worldwide. He continues to write and found success
with "Alma's Daughter" a novel about a teenage poltergeist.
