While hunting an
invasion leopard in the savanna, Carlos and Migue come upon a man dying
from a poisonous snake bite. As they prepare a necessary hand amputation,
they discover something even more disconcerting... a young woman chained
to a wall inside his shack.
Roberto Bianchi Montero
was NOT a subtle filmmaker. His cinematic indiscretion
was probably due to years of helming shockumentaries (ten productions
between 1960-1968, including Orient By Night, Africa Sexy,
Mondo Infame, Sexy Nudo, Universe Proibito, et
al). After making a few Spaghetti Westerns, he jumped to the lucrative
thriller exploitation genre with his quintessential gore and sex THE
SLASHER IS A SEX MANIAC. Next him co-directed the lurid CRY
OF THE PROSTITUTE with his brother Andria Bianchi and then the
sleazy erotic comedy HOT
NIGHTS OF CALIGULA. Mr Roberto Bianchi Montero, who often used
pseudonyms for his projects (including Robert B White, Luis Monter, and
George Curor), died from a heart attack in September 1986 at age 78.
