One year ago, police
captain Gold Eagle was one of the best in his field. But when he attempted
to take down Chau Shun-Fu, an unscrupulous businessman with Triad ties,
his life was shattered forever. His bride-to-be and her family were massacred
on their wedding day. Gold Eagle retired to a remote fishing village where
he became a drunken recluse. But the mob continues to torment him until
he decides he's had enough...
This was the final
feature film for Amy Yip, one of the genre's most popular stars. She was
best known for ROBOTRIX,
EROTIC
GHOST STORY,JAILHOUSE
EROS, CHINA
DOLLS and, of course, SEX
AND ZEN. Even though she hasn't made a film since 1997 [when she
quit the industry to get married], Amy Yip is the most famous HK Category
III actress in History, most notably due to her tiny slim body and disproportionately
large breasts.
Interestingly, this
film was the last project for Raymond Lui, a filmmaker who directed only
handful of martial arts film. He was better known as an actor, starring
in 30+ productions - mostly kung fu movie - but also was featured (as
Hing Yann) in numerous episodes of the American TV series Walt Disney's
Wonderful World Of Color.
