in Europe. He preferred working in his home country (the Federal Republic
of Yugoslavia) where he was born Dragomir Bojanic-Gidra in Kragujevac,
Serbia, Yugoslavia. Acting under a variety of similar pseudonyms (ranging
from Dragan Bojanic to Gidra Bojanic to Dragomir 'Gidra' Bojanic), he
starred in 120+ films between 1955-1993 and enjoyed a long marriage to
Serbian actress Ljiljana Kontic. Mr Ghidra died in November 1993 in Belgrade,
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. He was 60 years old.
