A federal judge and his beautiful young wife - Oscar and Patricia Bataille - are vacationing at a seaside resort where some of the tourists and locals are brutally murdered in the same fashion as several killers the judge had previously sentenced to death.

A remarkably good thriller from one of the most underrated directors in the business, Jorge Grau (the filmmaker also responsible for LET SLEEPING CORPSES LIE, LEGEND OF BLOOD CASTLE and the extraordinary home-invasion thriller COTA DE CAZA). However, it should be noted that the crass International title here is much more exploitative than it should be. The film is an intelligent, tense thriller more accurately associated with the original Spanish title Pena De Muerte [Penalty of Death].
