A
young tabloid reporter named Sota Kaneishi has been assigned the mysterious
case of a child found dead after jumping from a suspension bridge. The
most unusual aspect of the story is the child's body is missing all
internal organs. Suspecting organ trafficking, Sota immediately visits
the doctor who had conducted the autopsy. He discovers the organs were
not stolen after all, but rather, missing from the start. The journalist
traces the body back to a remote village in the woods, where he starts
to unravel the story of a group of children who went missing 35 years
ago... yet, some of them seem to reappear every time it rains....
