All over Rome, people are committing suicide. That's the setup, anyway. But the real plot centers around Doctor Simona (played by cult fave Mimsy Farmer) and her work as an autopsy physician. Her expertise is determining whether a suicide was faked or not. When a female neighbor (and secretly her father's mistress) is found dead on the beach - apparently a victim of suicide - Dr Simona is determined to prove she was murdered.

Director Armando Crispino is mostly associated with quirky horror films, notably ETRUSCAN KILLS AGAIN and Spaghetti Westerns (JOHN THE BASTARD). He also helmed the excellent sado-nunsploitation feature CONVENT OF CASTRO earlier the same year. Mr Crispino died in October 2003 at age 78 from a heart attack.
