Arcana
is a combination of a Latin word (arcanus) and English (arcane), meaning
'secrets or mysteries.' In this case, arcana also refers to the
twenty two trump cards in a tarot deck known as the Major Arcana.
The story deals with a widow who earns her living as a clairvoyant in
Milan; however, she has no real psychic power. On the other hand, her
son does have unbridled supernatural powers and mom is determined to
help him become a strong sorcerer. But he is an undiscplined boy who
fails to grasp the real strength he possesses and, instead, unleashes
