Based
on the long-running Italian (adult) comic book Isabella penned
by Sandro Angiolini, here is the story of a young and beautiful woman
who seeks vengeance against the evil Baron von Nutter who killed her
parents, stole their land and destroyed her royal heritage. Isabella
had been rescued during the massacre and was raised by gypsies. Twenty
years later she is ready for her revenge.
Bruno
Corbucci started his movie-making career as a scriptwriter in 1964,
responsible for penning almost 150 motion pictures includingDJANGO
for his more famous filmmaking brother Sergio Corbucci. As a director,
Bruno would concentrate mostly on action films, comedies and crime films.
Mr Corbucci's career ended with his death in September 1996, six years
after his brother's passing in 1990. Bruno Corbucci was 64.
Brigitte Skay, born Brigitte Johanna Riedle in Germany,
made numerous films for Mario Bava (best known for his Bay of
Blood. She retired after 15 years and 40 movies; her final role
was that of Irene in the Nazi atrocity film BEAST
IN HEAT. Miss Skay died at age 72 in November 2012.
