Euro starlet Malu plays Jessica White, an attorney who has found success
in the courtroom by weaving an effective [highly fabricated] personal
story that convinces the judge to acquit her client. Here, the director
presents two different cases for Ms White to helm. In the first, a young
girl is accused of drug possession and robbery. While obviously guilty,
she sits by as Jessica White unspools a story (visualized for the audience)
of how the poor girl was merely too naive and will certainly be victimized
in prison. After the acquittal, Jessica White is then hired to represent
an older woman [from a respected family] who has been put on house arrest
after getting mixed up with a drug trafficker. The story Ms White presents
to the judge, finds the woman ultimately sold to and raped by the dealers.

Fanetti (better known by his Frank De Niro pseudonym) is probably the
sleaziest of all the Italian filmmakers. He has the shameless ability
to linger over each scene with a leering intensity unparalleled in erotic
cinema. He was most prolific in the early Nineties, and most of his movies
starred Malù [real name Ileana Carusio] in the lead role, GAMES
OF DESIRE, LADY
EMANUELLE, SCENT
OF PASSION, LOVES
OF LADY CHATTERLY, et al. Certainly she was his muse, but
some sources also suggest a romantic link between the two. Malù
had a stormy career. Seemingly due to guilt infused by her strict Catholic
upbringing, she would often retire from filmmaking and return to the sanctuary
of her parents' home. Inevitably, Pasquale would convince her to come
back for another film. She finally retired permanently in 1995 and refuses
to conduct interviews today. Mr Fanetti made only a few other projects
after her departure, under totally different pseudonyms: Emanuele Gilsenti
and Robert Fani for Lycantropus in 2007.
