The death of his father triggers Sebastian into a pathological breakdown punctuated by uncontrollable fear and hallucinations. Sebastian discovers that he is able to cause people to die merely by thinking about it. When his older brother dies, Sebastian is convinced that he caused it to happen (after all, he was jealous and did want his brother's girlfriend). The boy undergoes hypnosis, but his apparent supernatural powers do not subside. Instead, he becomes even more violent and sadistic.

Euro filmmaker Jose Ramon Larraz fought diligently in the '70s and '80s to loosen censorship restrictions in his home country of Spain. Often, his films would push the boundaries of cultural acceptability. He is best known for the highly controversial VAMPYRES, SEXUAL RITES OF THE DEVIL and his debut film WHIRLPOOL. Mr Larraz died September 3, 2013 in Andalucía, Spain at age 83..
