Papaco
is a no-nonsense, dressed-in-black gunslinger wandering the West, dragging
a coffin behind him wherever he goes. This is obviously a homage to Sergio
Corbucci's DJANGO
from Brazilian director Mario Vaz Filho. And like Django,
as the film opens, Papaco rescues a whore from a (graphic) Mexican gang
rape and takes the girl with him to a nearby town. However - unlike Django
- before the rescue, he takes time to anally rape a brute who challenged
him and lost in a gunfight. Once Papaco and his whore arrive in the town,
she strikes a deal with a local undertaker to keep him supplied with stiffs
and Papaco is stalked by Chumbinho, a midget gunslinger (played by Brazilian
Fuk Fuk). A bit later, Papaco is confronted by a barful of jerks,
and (after swiftly dealing with them to the undertaker's satisfaction),
he gathers up their FIVE girlfriends and enjoys his personal orgy. But
Papaco must travel on. He has a meeting with the leader of a gang of Zapatistas
to deliver the contents of his coffin...
The rugged,
sex-driven Papaco is played by Fernando Benini, an actor who has starred
in numerous quirky projects since the late '60s. Interestingly, this is
his only venture into hardcore porn. Today, Mr Benini plays the role of
Firmino Gonzalves in a popular, long-running Brazilian television series,
Carrossel. It's a family adventure/drama about vacationing students
and their teacher chaperone, now in its sixth year.
