A young
psychic named Jenny Cooper finds that she has somehow tapped into the
energy of a dead telephone operator. At the same time, her friends and
acquaintances soon begin dying mysteriously. As this weird
situation continues, Jenny discovers that an unknown force behind the
complex phone wiring system has developed an infatuation towards her and
doesn't like it when anyone gets too close, regardless of their motives.
This
quirky (some would say, cockeyed) thriller from legendary director Ruggero
Deodato is fanciful and erotic while delving into some gore-influenced
violence. Some Cult Movie fans want director Deodato to continue making
CANNIBAL
HOLOCAUST for the rest of his life. Those fans are missing out
on a wide range of quality films that followed Deodato's seminal masterpiece,
