2 EVIL DEAD TRAP 2: HIDEKI (1991) [Shiryo
No Wana 2: Hideki]
director: Izo Hashimoto
starring: Shouko Nakajima · Rie Kondou · Siro Sano · Shino Ikwnami
Aki,
an overweight girl, lives a hermit existence as a projectionist in a neighborhood
theater. She passes the time by killing prostitutes, butchering them and
cutting their stomachs out. Eventually, she becomes involved in a deadly
love /hate relationship with her beautiful friend, Ami. The conflict between
the two girls is heightened by the sexual aggressions of a mutual boyfriend
who beds them both. Ami gets pregnant; Aki gets jealous. This is the catalysis
for the film's bloodbath finale.
The film is told as
a first-person narrative, a technique virtually unused in cinema art.
Widescreen
edition with removable English subtitles; fully uncut version; DVD encoded
for WORLD FORMAT NTSC, playable on any American machine. Extras include
various trailers and bios.
