A
age ten, Roy kills his first man. He watches as his father is gunned
down by one of Thomas Barrett's henchmen. In turn, as his dad lays dying
in the dirt, young Roy picks up a shotgun and blasts the killer. Then
he takes the man's horse (with the famous silver saddle) and rides into
the desert. Over the years his reputation as a gunfighter grows until
he becomes the feared and respected bounty hunter, Roy Blood. Inadvertently,
when a 'job' goes sour, he rescues a child who happens to be related
to Thomas Barrett. Roy then realizes that he's been set-up and is accused
of kidnapping. Soon, he finds himself in a war between Mexican outlaws
and the Barrett family.
Before
his death in 1988, Lucio Fulci was generally consider one of the top
Italian Cult Directors, especially known for his gore and mayhem films,
