The film opens as Detective Franco Sereni is fired from the police force after - once again - resorting to brute force to keep the peace in the streets of Caserta. He is the Italian Dirty Harry and not remotely repentant for his behavior. Sereni knows the only way to clean the streets (and keep them clean) is to be tougher than the bad guys. He hires himself out as a private detective to the wife of a wealthy politician being blackmailed in a sex scandal. Sereni learns that Police Commissioner Augustus is linked to organized crime and that he - with his mistress Flavia - are running a prostitution/blackmail ring out of the swank Hotel Bellavista. However, Sereni's investigation rustles the feathers of the Mob and soon his girlfriend Nadia is raped and brutally killed. At this point, Franco Sereni is willing to do anything to bring down Commissioner Augustus and his gang.

Director Mario Bianchi is the son of exploitation filmmaker Roberto Montero (Slasher is a Sex Maniac) and began his career working as an assistant director for his father. Mario - using the name Frank Bronston - helmed his first feature in 1971 (the Spaghetti Western, Fasthand). In the following 30 years. Mario Bianchi made 85+ movies under thirteen different pseudonyms. This particular film was signed by Nicholas Moore. His most famous film SATAN'S BABY DOLL was credited to Alan W Cools. Mr Bianchi retired from the director's chair in 2001.
