Eli
Roth, one of America's premiere horror filmmakers, now offers a feast
of gut-wrenching terror in the mode of the gross-out Italian cannibal
movies (i.e.,CANNIBAL
HOLOCAUST, EATEN
ALIVE, et al). The story deals with a group of determined
student activists who travel to the deepest jungles of the Amazon to
protect the rain forests. After their plane crashes in the wilderness,
they are captured by bloodthirsty cannibals. The survivors suffers unimaginable
acts of butchery at the hands of the very tribe they were attempting
to help.
