A Highly Controversial Adult Giallo from Director Mulargia

director: Edoardo Mulargia (as Edward G. Muller)
starring: Anthony Steffen · Anita Strindberg · Umberto Raho · Gabriele Tinti

The main plot deals with a doctor experimenting in Haiti who discovers an important medical secret but is tormented by a killer who wants the discovery for himself. But this film has been the subject of major controversy due to everything surrounding the main narrative... which includes a married couple on vacation who fall into a web of voodoo erotica. This is a totally uncut version of Mulargia's motion picture which features full-frontal male and female nudity.

Director Mulargia worked with Anthony Steffen (Antonio De Teffe) on numerous Spaghetti Westerns and the popular women-in-prison film CONDEMNED TO HELL (Savage Island). Many of his later films were shot in South America although he was considered a major Italian grindhouse director. This was one of his last projects as Mr Mulargia died from heart failure in September 2005. He was 79 years old.

Anthony Steffen passed away a year earlier, in Brazil. He was 74.
