A mega-Rare
women-in-prison film from Brazil, helmed by Conrado Sanchez who worked
as the assistant director aside Oswaldo De Oliverira for the original
AMAZON
JAIL in 1982. Interestingly, it also features Vanessa Alves who
co-starred in the original project.
Of course
it's cliched and obvious, but this seldom-seen actioner is also incredibly
sleazy, more so than the original source material. A rich slave-trader
and his black-butler dwarf are in the flesh business. And they currently
have captured a bevy of attractive women and are set to sell them a Japanese
sadist living in luxury on the edge of the Amazon. However, the plans
are derailed when two mercenaries fall for the girls and help them escape.
Lots of wild animals - including a few that aren't traditionally found
in the Amazon (ie, ostriches) - snakes, spiders and of course naked ladies
fill the screen as the motley group try to escape the pissed off bad guys.

film in English language; widescreen format, totally uncut version (71
