director De Oliveira put a twist on the women-in-prison genre with his
groundbreaking BARE
BEHIND BARS, he again rises to the challenge with this sadistic,
cockeyed women-in-peril opus. It would be his final feature film as Oswaldo
De Oliveira died at age 59 in 1990. R.I.P.
Young women in the Amazon are kidnapped by a ring of devil-worshipers
who plan to sell them as sex slaves. Some of the women escape, but are
pursued into the jungle by their captors. The women must band together
to turn the tables on their kidnappers.
But soon they are caught between the deadly bounty hunters and a priest
who could only be described as extremely perverted.
A Brazilian
Film; widescreen (16:9), totally uncut version (93 min.), in English language,
DVD encoded for ALL REGIONS NTSC, playable on any American machine. Extras
