Tinto Brass has made
a very stylish Western here with many memorable moments, filled with stark
violence and sultry sensuality. His unique camera angles plus his flare
for decadently unusual sets, add to the overall impact of the film. He
also makes good use of the excellent Nino Rosso score. Filmmaker Brass
went on to direct some of Italy's most controversial motion pictures including
the notorious CALIGULA.
A drifting gunfighter - called Yankee - goes to Mexico to help two brothers
defend the town of Pueblo. But he soon discovers that his potential employers
have been murdered by a bandit named Cobra.
The sheriff, terrified of Cobra and his bandidos, does nothing to stop
them. The huge bounty offered for their capture and/or murder convinces
Yankee to stay. Before long he finds himself immersed in Cobra's plot
to steal gold from an American transport unit.

in Italian language with English subtitles, DVD encoded for ALL REGION
