Filmmaker Lucio Fulci produced this gory chiller in 1988 and then lifted sections of it for his own movie CAT IN THE BRAIN. This motion picture - in its original form - has never been released in the U.S. It's directed by Mario Bianchi, best known for his nubile demonic sex thrillers MALIBIMBA and SATAN'S BABY DOLL; this time he highlights two popular Italian starlets Jessica Moore (from numerous Joe D'Amato films) and Andriana Russo. However, the master performance comes from Gabriele Tinti (the real life husband of Laura Gemser), highly convincing in his (unintentional) Al Pacino imitation.

The story deals with a family making a long drive to Aunt Martha's remote house in the country [after her release from an asylum for the criminally insane where she spent the last 40 years]. Once they arrive, this family discovers that Aunt Martha isn't there. Instead, they find the caretaker and a cryptic message that she will appear the next day... if they survive the night.

An Italian film; widescreen, totally uncut version (88 min.), in English language with removable Greek subtitles, DVD encoded for ALL REGION NTSC, playable on any American machine. Extras include various trailers.
