I Love You So Much I Could Eat You!

director: Claire Denis
starring: Vincent Gallo · Beatrice Dalle · Tricia Vessey · Florence Loiret-Caille

Depending on which critic you listen to, this movie is either a "modern masterpiece of cinematic art" or an "excessive, arthouse gorefest with no redeeming value." Ever since its premiere at Cannes in 2002 - amid reports of two women fainting during the "devouring" scene - this film has received an amazing array of both high praise and utter damnation. Simply... it's one of the most controversial movies of the new millennium. And a fully uncut version is finally available!

Shane and June are American newlyweds visiting Paris, but this is no ordinary honeymoon. Shane is a man possessed - overwhelmed by dark sexual emotions. He spends each day away from his new wife, desperately searching for an old colleague, Dr. Leo Semeneau, with whom he had worked on revolutionary brain experiments dealing with the link between lust and craving. Shane is hoping to find a cure for a madness which infects his very soul... during sex he cannot control an overriding desire to consume the body of his partner.

A French film; widescreen, uncut (100 min.) version in DVD encoded for ALL REGIONS, playable on any American DVD machine; in English language with removable English or Chinese subtitles as an option.
