The Notorious Big-Budget LSD Disaster-of-a-Movie

director: Otto Preminger
starring: Jackie Gleason · Carol Channing · Frankie Avalon · Groucho Marx
Peter Lawford · John Phillip Law · George Raft · Mickey Rooney

Legendary filmmaker Otto Preminger directed this psychedelic comedy (reportedly after discovering the bliss of LSD) in 1968; despite the big budget and impressive cast, it became notorious as one of the worst movies of all time. Jackie Gleason plays a gangster who reluctantly comes out of retirement to whack an old friend now turned informant. Meanwhile, his sheltered wife and daughter discover the joys of drugs and the hippie lifestyle. When things get horribly boggled, top Mafia boss God (played by Groucho Marx) steps in to calm the waters.

An American production; original widescreen format (2.35:1), totally uncut version at 98 minutes, encoded for REGION ONE NTSC, playable on any American machine; in English language.
