After a couple
failed projects, Beat Takeshi Kitano delivers one of his best movies with
this multi-award winning film. The story deals with an artist who - for
all his life - wants to create an important work of art. However, his
paintings are too abstract... to extreme (see top left pic)... for public
consumption. He is faced with the downside of what such a pursuit will
ultimately do to his life.
