Brazil's "Pornochanchada" cinema was popular between 1977-1985.
"Chada Movies" (nicknamed by the fans) are very similar to
Japan's Pink Films or America's Roughies. While not hardcore, nothing
is off limits; the plots often delve into taboos of rape, misogyny,
bestiality, sexual brutality, necrophilia, water-sports, and adolescent
sex. The nudity is excessive and plentiful.

An erotic
coming-of-age tale about a young girl who - with a boyfriend in the waterfalls
of northern Brazil - explores sexuality and becomes pregnant. Then later,
her newborn child suffers from an illness and needs a life-saving operation.
Mom is forced into a highclass brothel to finance the expensive surgery
for her son.
