While a group
of explorers are on an expedition in the jungles of Thailand, an anthropologist
stumbles upon a bizarre ritualistic ceremony of the Worm tribe. A beautiful
girl is tied to an alter and is being sacrificed to a creature. The scientist
saves her, only to be captured by the witch doctor. He watches as his
partner is anointed with a strange gunk that causes his body to erupt
and explode in a shower of worms. This sets the stage for a mind-boggling
opus filled with more blood-n-gore thrills than most any Hong Kong film.
