Loosely based on the writings of the Marquis de Sade, this film is generally considered one of the best movies in Jess Franco's extensive filmography. It tells the story of young Eugenie who is smitten with her stepfather and becomes his accomplice in a series of perverse murders. The deadly duo seduce and eliminate numerous victims until Eugenie's charms spark a jealous rage in father Albert Radeck.
