There has
been a surge in the number of suicides and a mysterious DVD is found on
the bodies of the victims - a how-to manual instructing would-be users
in the fine art of suicide. Self-immolation, drowning, hanging, poison...
a variety of methods presented in easy-to-follow directions. Nozumi, obsessed
by the idea of suicide, falls under the spell of a cult. Yousuke, the
policeman she is dating, discovers the cult has links to the Suicide Manual.
One day, all traces of the cult disappear, and Nozomi along with it...
