The nights of terror are unleashed when a professor's thirst for knowledge seals his own demise as he unseals a cursed underground crypt in an ancient burial ground and unleashes flesh eating zombies. What set this movie apart from many other Italian-made zombie films is the way family members became each other's victims, for example, there's the freakish scene (intact here for the first time in American video) where a young boy - now a zombie - bites off his mother's nipple (see above picture).

A domestic release of an Italian film; widescreen (16:9), fully uncut version (85 minutes) encoded for REGION ONE NTSC, playable on any American machine; in English language. Extras include interviews and trailers.
