Miss Yip plays
May Lin, an unfortunate victim of gunplay between her husband and the
HK cops, who gives her baby to a policeman (Lam) before escaping to mainland
China. Throughout the film, she tries to get back to Hong Kong to retrieve
her son, but she finds herself victimized by gangsters. They want her
for a prostitution ring. The downbeat - yet effective - ending finds May
Lin surviving yet another gun battle, only to be deported back to china
after getting a glimpse of her child.
