Koushien is a baseball stadium. Every summer it hosts the Japanese High
School tournament. This tournament is called "a battlefield."·

summer event.

Tak Sakaguchi is a student with extraordinary baseball talent. However,
he has sworn off the sport because of... well because of "something
that happened earlier." Things change after he moves to a new school
where the principal has but one dream · a baseball victory at the
Koushien tournament. Tak decides to play the game and lead his school
to victory... that is, until he discovers that his opponents are a team
of zombies, renowned for not leaving the opposing team alive at the end
of the 9th inning.
