Three perennial
themes are whirling about here. First, aliens attempt to take over the
Earth [a very familiar plot device often used since DESTROY ALL MONSTERS
in 1968]; second, their own planet is dying from pollution [thus, a message
for humanity to take care]; and third, the bad spacemen deploy Ghidra
(Ghidorah) and Gigan (a new monster with a buzz saw in his belly) to fight
Godzilla and his tag team partner Anzilla.
